Still Life A and B are contemporary takes on the genre. A couple of objects find themselves between layers of digital fabric and fur. The elements that were chosen are mundane everyday goods. However they can also be read as signifiers of globalised consumerism. Fresh avocados from South America meet shrinkled potatoes from Europe. A little grouping of beer caps refers to Western drinking habits, yet at a closer look one might notice that they are from an asian brand.
